Saute onion with garlic and ginger, then add bacon. Cook to desired crispness. Boill water with salt and oil. Add penne pasta and cook as instructions.
Cheese sauce
Melt butter, then add same amount of flour.
Cook for 2 to 3 min on medium heat, to cook off the flour.
Turn down the heat and add milk, a bit at a time, stirring at all times. Let milk cook a bit add salt and pepper.
Add grated cheese, small handful at a time.
Cook on medium heat, for 10 min or so, constantly stirring.
When flavour is suited, take off heat and cool down. Add egg yolk and stir quickly.
Mix pasta, bacon, peas and cheese sauce together into a greased dish. Scatter breadcrumbs on top and sprinkle cheese on top.
Cook at 180°C for 15min or so, until tip is golden brown.
