1 Onion (diced)
Pinch of thyme and mixed herbs
1 egg

Method
Break bread into small crumbs and pile on the kitchen bench. Top with the diced onion, thyme, mixed herbs, black pepper and salt.
Fold over with your hands then make a hole in the middle of the mixture. Break an egg in, mix by folding over a few times until it feels firm.
Make balls from the mixture and wrap each bail in foil. Should make about 15.
Place the stuffing balls with the steaming meat and vegs. Steam for about 25 to 30 min. (If you are making stuffing balls by themselves then put them in an oven bag and roast for 25 to 30 mins at 150c.
VARITATIONS: You can use an oven bag or foil for cooking in the oven. You can put frozen mixed vegetables or a grated carrot in the stuffing mixture.
