Chinese Chicken Patties
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 500g chicken mince
- 3 finely sliced spring onions
- 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- ½ teaspoon of Chinese 5 spice
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Mix together all ingredients in a bowl.
- Heat the oil in the frying pan and divide the chicken mixture into 4 and make 4 large patties in the hot frying pan.
- Fry for 3- 4 mins each side making sure the pattie is cooked through.
- Serve like a burger on a roll with salad or eat like a meatball with vegetables or salad on the side.
- VARIATIONS - Serve with avocado, bacon, or satay sauce or chipotle sauce!
