Italian Affogato
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 1 ¼ cup of strong espresso coffee
- ½ cup of coffee liquor or any liquor!
- Toasted nuts or grated chocolate (optional)
Method
- Place a big scoop of ice cream in a pretty serving bowl or glass.
- Pour the hot coffee over the ice cream
- Add a splash of your favourite liquor.
- Sprinkle with nuts or chocolate if you like!!
- VARIATIONS: Use any of your favourite liquors and toppings. If you don’t want added alcohol then add a teaspoon of essence into the hot coffee.
