Takihi (Niuean Traditional Dish)
Ingredients
- Niue taro
- Pawpaw
- Arrowroot or tapioca starch
- Coconut cream
- Pinch of salt
Method
- 1. Peel taro and pawpaw and slice
- 2. Layer it out on oven bag and foil
- 3. Sprinkle arrowroot and salt
- 4. Add coconut cream
- 5. Bake in oven at 180c for about an hour and half or baked until cooked.
