Takihi (Niuean Traditional Dish)

Ingredients

  • Niue taro
  • Pawpaw
  • Arrowroot or tapioca starch
  • Coconut cream
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. 1. Peel taro and pawpaw and slice
  2. 2. Layer it out on oven bag and foil
  3. 3. Sprinkle arrowroot and salt
  4. 4. Add coconut cream
  5. 5. Bake in oven at 180c for about an hour and half or baked until cooked.
  6. Enjoy!
