Tai\'s American Dream Burger

Ingredients

  • Beef Mince about 500g
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Red Onion
  • Cheese - your favourite type for melting
  • Pickles (Optional)
  • American Mustard
  • Egg Mayo
  • Tomato sauce
  • Bread Buns
  • Butter

Method

  1. Prepare salad ingredients- slice onions, tomatoes and cheese, wash lettuce
  2. Measure out approximately 100g of mince and shape into balls
  3. Put a pan on medium-high heat
  4. Butter the buns (cutside) and toast in the pan until golden brown
  5. To cook meat patties in “smash” style, place Meat Ball onto pan and squash downwards with a spatula to make the meat ball into a meat patty shape. Salt and pepper on one side and cook for 2min each side. (If you want, when you flip the meat patty add a slice of cheese on the cooked side and let the cheese melt)
  6. Once the meat patties are done, you can start constructing YOUR burger to the taste just how you like it. If you want to follow how I did mine
