Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoon yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm milk
- 2 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- Icing Sugar
- Butter
Method
- Mix the yeast in a little of the warm milk.
- Put flour in large bowl, mix the yeast and egg in to the flour.
- Add the rest of the warm milk to mixing well to avoid lumps. Add a pinch of salt.
- Cover tea towel and leave in rise at warm place for 45-60 mins.
- Heat the pan, melting a little butter, the batter wont stick to the pan. Pour about a spoonful of batter.
- Turn the Poffertjes with a fork as soon as bubbles seem on the nice brown crispy of the soft batter.
- Serve your Poffertjes with icing sugar and some butter. Yum will melt into deliciousness.
