Monica\'s Brownie

Makes 20 pieces

Ingredients

  • 200g of butter
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of self raising flour - this can be gluten free

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and cocoa together on a low heat.
  3. Take it off the heat and add the sugar. Mix in the eggs and fold in the flour.
  4. Place in a square 20cm baking tin that is lined with baking paper. Cook for about 20 to 30 minutes. Prick with a fork and if it comes out clean the Brownie is ready.
  5. Leave to cool in the tin and slice into pieces on the baking paper, on a chopping board.
