Ingredients
- Pudding Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tbsp Apricot Jam
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 1/2 Tsp White Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
- Sauce Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Cup Amarula Liquor
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 125 Grams Butter (diced)
Method
- Pudding Method
- Preheat the oven 180oC
- In mixing bowl, sugar and egg mix well, till smooth
- Add rest of ingredients, mix until smooth
- Grease 20x20cm Oven Proof Dish
- Pour mixture
- Bake for 40 minutes, till stewer stick come out clean (nice and brown)
- Prick the pudding with lots of holes (for sauce to go in).
- Sauce Method
- All ingredients in a small pot.
- Slow Cook Sauce till sugar melt.
- Boil for one minute.
- Pour over a sppon onto hot pudding.
- Make sure the pudding is well covered with sauce.
- Let it soak for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve hot with custard or whipped cream
