Buttercream Icing (courtesy of Shoshone)

Ingredients

  • 200g softened butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 cups of icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 - 2 tablespoon milk
  • Food colouring (pick your flavourite colours)

Method

  1. Beat butter until its pale (lighter)
  2. Add icing sugar while blending, add vanilla essences
  3. Add the milk and keep stirring until fluffy and light. If the icing is a little thick then add a drop of more milk
  4. Add your colour, drop by drop until you have it prefect!
